War

War
According to the Google dictionary, war is a state of armed conflict between different nations, states or different groups within a nation or state. The world has experience famous wars like: World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, The France Revolution and Civil War but I’ll emphasize in spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is the Christian version of the concept of taking a stand against supernatural evil forces. The foundation for this ideology is having a belief in evil spirits, which are able to intervene in human affairs.  We live in a constant war between our spirits and sins. It’s hard to fight our sins daily because they are part of our human life. Every day, humans deal with temptations that lead us to sin and we Christians fight with our spirits to stay loyal and trustworthy.

We Christians face this war and must of us fail lots of times. Temptations are hard to fight because they are things our mind wants us to do. The advantage for us Christians is that we have a powerful God by our side all the time and when we fall he picks us up, forgives us and takes us back to the battlefield. We Christians fight because Jesus died for us and saved us and just like he died for us, we want to live for him. We don’t do it forced by anyone; we fight this war because it’s the least we can do for the Him that gave it all for us.

Death

Death
I consider death is the beginning of a new life with Jesus. People are normally afraid of dying but Christians are not because our God promised us salvation and eternity by he’s side. Google dictionary defines death as the end of the life of a person or organism and by my beliefs, I know that my organism dies but my spirit doesn’t. We Christians believe that our spirits immediately go to heaven but if you don’t recognize God as your only savior, your spirit will experience complete death. Depending on what you believe in, the meaning of death changes.

If we make a comparison between Christians and non-believers definition of death, we will find completely different ideas. For us believers, as I explained before, death is the beginning of a new life with Jesus by our sides but non-believers have a whole different perspective. Non-believers or atheists believe we have no spirit or soul so when we die we decompose just like any other organic material. The one thing we have in common is that we want to make the best out of life. Atheists want to make the best out of it because they believe is all they have and they wont get anything else afterwards and we Christians because we want to thank in some way what Jesus did for us when he died to save every one of us from our sins. In other words, its your decision, either you believe or you don’t.  In other words, its your decision, either you believe or you don’t. As simple as that.

Happiness

Happiness
Happiness is pleasure, contentment and joy and I’m going to explain what brings me that felling. I’ve been happy a lot of times but there is this one moment that happiness reached another level in life. In July 19, 2013 I had an encounter with Jesus. It truly was the happiest moment of my life. I felt liberated, saved, born again, and alive. I actually felt Jesus by my side. The moment was magical and the happiest part of all was the fact of knowing that God was real. Since that day I’ve been a different person in a better way and to me that is happiness. God’s not dead, he is surely alive and I honestly think nothing could make me happier.
