Religion
We Christians don’t use the term
“religion” to define our believes. Religion is a creation of man and is not the
intention or design of God. Religion is a system of beliefs or a code of moral
conducts that judge a person based on their adherence and obedience to certain
codes, rules, laws, traditions, or a performance of required acts. It’s based
on works, not grace. Christianity is different from every religion because all
other religions state that you must earn your right to be close to God. The
things you do in this life, good or bad deeds, determine you eternal life with
Jesus. Christianity is not a Religion.
Some religions are: Mormonism, Islam,
Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. In a religion man try to reach up to God but in
Christianity God reaches down to man. Christianity, more than a religion, is a
relationship. To society, Christianity is cataloged as a religion but we Christians
are completely aware that its just a stereotype. We don’t have a religion with God;
we have a relationship.
